Whitman Conservation District

Who are we?

We are a Conservation District, and as a Conservation District, we take available technical, financial, and educational resources, whatever their source, and focus or coordinate them so they meet the needs of the local land user for conservation of soil, water and related resources.

We are a locally led organization which means that our Board of Supervisors is from our community.  Our Directory shows who is currently serving on the Board of Supervisors and how to contact them.

We are here for you!
Some of the programs we have currently to assist you:
Agricultural Burn Permits
Annual Plant Sale
Contract Tree Plantings
Cost - Share
District Newsletter
Equipment
Outreach Programs
Water Quality Concerns
Youth Programs

Our District Program Page   contains summaries of each.
